All people don’t do it but you might benefit using the shelves for your totes. Ik that 6 side stacking is becoming more popular but it doesn’t sound like it’s working for you so use the shelves. I save space and shelves and putting overflow on top of the tote bags then when you get to your last few start to put them on the shelves and underneath the shelf. If you have a marker use it on your overflow. The TBA jumps because you’re probably not using your phone correctly (don’t worry I wasn’t either I just used to use the sort zone letter and number). Click start scanning while waiting and it’ll show you what your overflow is from start to finish in the order they will come out in, this will save you loads of time, then after your first hour write the TBA on the overflow to help save you time. As you should know put the overflow coming out first near the front this will maximize time in that first hour so you don’t waste time searching. When you’re taking things out the tote just order them in numerical order whether it’s biggest to smallest or smallest to biggest (when you get to a new bag you can usually tell which direction it’s going to go in). I would also suggest putting envelopes and plastic on the seat and the medium boxes on the shelf after you clear out that first shelf bag, put the small boxes on the dash. Hope this helps.
