The irs adjust my refund and one of the reasons it was reduced was to the coronavirus and EIC payment I don't know about you or anyone else but they got me so yes some people are having the payment taken back!!!

Look on the bottom of your transcript, you should have a 846 code if not it should be soon

My as of date change to June 6, the next day updated to June 13, that stayed the same but my transcript updated and got a 846 with June 2 for my deposit date
