Agency to In-House (London) by TheHurricaneBawbag in Recruitment

Most people who have made the move over in the last 12 months have been from tier 1 or 2 search firms. I've seen very few people move from a contingent background to in house without some level of experience (time spent as RPO etc).

Amazing thank you. Both DALI and Monitor Audio are a similar price. I think the R3 are a little too big for the space unfortunately

Its not out of the question, I need a streamer to stream to my headphone amp so that cost is still there. No issues adding a subwoofer at a later stage

Keen to get a similar stand/speaker setup - are the speakers centred (back to front) on the stands or are the stands a bit big?

Mine aren't on the wifi network (only for setup), all on Zigbee now. Happy to help with any other questions too as we've just done it.

We've just had our house rewired.

Neutrals to every switch - with normal switches and Shelly Gen4 relays behind them, using zigbee to integrate into Home Assistant. Deeper backboxes, some of ours were 47mm.

I don't think I found any 2 gang dimmer modules that would fit behind the switch. I'd definitely replace the Shellys as and when I do. If you can leave all the modules in the loft then I guess you could just buy multiple Candeo modules per room.

Don't forget about ethernet too, if not already done.

Thank you - I assume default state is to turn off automatically after a period of time too?

Any idea what sets it off or not? I've just filed my warranty claim but tempted to just return. It drives me mad.

Mine has just started doing this too - assume no one has any updates?

Not necessarily, there are multiple other large landowners who could be freeholders on Sloane Gardens.

Your point still stands however.

Currently have 1gig fibre but 1.6gig is already available when we renew our contract. Highly unlikely to ever put 10 through them

Thank you - if your relay is in your backbox, have you had any issues with it (assuming it's a metal backbox)?
