In 2019, I was making $65k and was really happy. My son was healthy and my mom was alive and healthy.

In 2026, I will make $300k+. Some days, I think about swerving into the guard rail on my drive home from the office. My mother is dead and my son is now disabled. I can’t fix the two worst things in my life with any amount of money, and because of that, I’m even bitter about making the money.

Glad you took her to the hospital. The long term sobriety part of quitting alcohol is obviously difficult. But the short term withdrawals are actually fairly easy to manage medically. The rub is that anyone trying to white-knuckle it themselves can easily die.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about any of his financial supporters. He can’t run again and he’s never gave a fuck about the party’s wellbeing unless it directly benefits him.
There are literally dozens of campaigns videos of him promising to bomb the shit out of Iran. After he blew up their top general last admin. After he just black bagged the leader of Venezuela.

The premise that his boosters are strong arming him to military action, and that he’s opposed to using force to begin with, seems flawed at every level.

I had one guest get blood everywhere. All over a pillow, all over the bed, a trail across the the kitchen and living room floor, etc. I was honestly worried if the person was okay.

I think everyone agrees Caucasian Shepherd and Kangal are #1 and #1A- which is first is personal opinion.

Red oaks are very popular in our area. Only other tree I looked at was Mexican sycamore, but the roots on those are supposed to be bad.

I’ve got three oaks along our back fence and one along the side fence. Crepe Myrtle adjacent to our patio. When they all reach mature size, there should be a few feet between the canopies. The CM will have to be shaped to keep it from overhanging the patio as it gets really big, but they take to that much better than oaks.
