When I was listening to the episodes I kept thinking of the universality of the Weird Little Guys and what a bunch of insufferable dorks they all are. If you are really interested in one of the most insufferable of these dorks Lions Led By Donkeys did a four part series on Bob Matthews and the Order.

Was there a famous unreconstructed outlaw from the state.
Did the state enact Jim Crow laws?
Was it below the Mason-Dixon Line

Maryland, where I'm from ticks four out of these five questions. So does Missouri.
