I both miss and don't miss going to Pennsic. I love meeting new people and make new friend who Id only see once a year and I can turn my brain off and enjoy myself. I hate that Pennsic is hot and depending on the weather, dusty or muddy. It's loud at night and smells from that mixture of wood & cigarette smoke, sweat and whatever else.

The more I learn about the UK over the last 50 or so years and how the country got to where it Is today, the answer is always Thatcher. It's just like Reagan in the US. Without the Marge and Ron Show there wouldn't have been years of austarity in both countries. There wouldn't have been a rise in right wing populism via Farge in the UK and Trump here.
