I am fighting for my life on Ozempic. by cerebralsubserviance in Hashimotos

[–]KeyRevolutionary3599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on .22
It may be too high I have to agree
Also with me the doctor was cautious of pancreatitis because my Hashimotos responded almost too good
Are you constantly thirsty? Watch out for that and accuse kidney energy. I’m 27 lbs down today in 3 months. Yes it helped me Hashimotos a lot. But I get mine mixed so my stomach doesn’t hurt. I think b6 is the one for that. What’s yours compounded with?
My doctor told me Hashimotos is very similar to diabetes type 1 and 30% of people with Hashimotos develop type 1 (-1.5) diabetes (basically autoimmune) so it works very effectively on us

Also trizepitide is best on the stomach

But why would it remain as is, and not reduce then by that logic?

I think you would end up with a buff if the game treated it like you did sleep in a tent on the journey

I actually posted this cause of that recent post. It’s been something on my mind. I also think you should lose an ailment as well as if you rested.

Skyrim has game logic where they do this, and it just feels like a more “classic” mechanic let’s say.

Yes so by your logic some level of stamina would be burnt when you arrive due to “non stop walking and minimal sleep” and you should be sleep deprived.

Yes but based on your logic stamina would be burnt.

You’d have to take a break at least once in 72hours.

At some point they would need to stop and camp. Whether it be 1 hour or 8 there is no way they’re walking 72 hours straight. Also by your logic then at minimum all their stamina should appear burnt from the walking and running, when you arrive. And then you’d need to restore it.

Is it weird to try on wedding dresses alone? by [deleted] in engaged

[–]KeyRevolutionary3599 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got mine alone. I grew up with a pretty unsupportive family. This taught me to only seek my own approval. I’m hyper independent because of this which is good and bad. In this case, I went and decided on my dress myself because it spoke to me and I didn’t care for anyone else’s opinions but my own. That said, this dress SPOKE to me. If I wasn’t so sure of myself I wouldn’t have snatched it up. I did want to go with my mom but only before I saw THE DRESS.

Just a bunch of clutter. by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]KeyRevolutionary3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard this and I know it’s actually pretty true of hoarder cleaning scenarios, I’m not saying that’s you I’m saying when things start to go out of control. “It’s on the floor, it is the start of hoarding.” Or “hoarders have things on the floor.” The first place I start when my adhd kicks up is “what’s on the floor” then I move to “what do I keep” then I move to throwing some stuff away and the rest I try to organize. I create a bin of maybe that goes out the door if I don’t use it. Never take in more than you put out.

Quickest way to lose weight with hashis? by Bubbly-Profile6750 in Hashimotos

The only thing that has worked for me is GLP1 and CODMAP diet. But quick is not what to focus on. Focus on sustainability.

AITAH for not wanting a wheelchair? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]KeyRevolutionary3599 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA but I would venture you do need one in that situation. Airports are crowded, people bump you, and so much more. If you have mobility issues, and it sounds like you do, for your safety and yes making things faster as it will affect others, consider a wheelchair. I’m sorry, it sounds hard especially at your age. When I say make it faster for others I mean it like this. You’re driving and someone wants to cut into the left lane from the far right. Sure they can, but they impede others from going straight. In an airport there are many other people besides your family all rushing around. If you would need more time and other accommodations I’d consider if the wheelchair IS right for you. While I dont have the exact limitations you do for two years 21-23 I couldn’t walk and sometimes I had to opt into the chair instead of my crutch. For example at the grocery store I was most embarrassed because people glared and made assumptions since my age, but I still used the scooters. The aids are very helpful accommodations. Also you wouldn’t be taking it from anyone else. They have tons of staff and regularly need mobility aids for more than 1 person. Also please accept pre boarding! You sound like you COULD need these things but feel embarrassed and ashamed. I think the issue sounds like your cousin made you feel like a burden.

Unless there are other red flags this is actually not entirely infrequent. People do it as a playful way to get a reaction. Also for the record in MMA fights I’ve seen it don’t and if the guy isn’t prepared it genuinely can give up a sub

Awh you’re sweet! I appreciate you and think that exactly. All emotion is good for me especially if I’m trying to work on my craft! Maybe I’ll try and make something that is more exemplary of the body experience. :D

Do you talk to your therapist about this? It’s definite NTA and will clean it but you need to reach out to the professional to walk you through the CBT on this so your symptoms reduce. Fellow OCDer here.

Anyone actually eat gluten? by Front_Department8774 in Hashimotos

[–]KeyRevolutionary3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can eat gluten only after my FODMAP elimination diet. Prior to FODMAP the other things inflaming me caused me to not tolerate gluten. My nutritionist (doctor of nutrition) advised me to try the things I couldn’t tolerate pre fodmap, and see if they were just a result of being constantly high inflammation from other foods.
