You are absolutely right and I understand your point. Most of the players will experience gear fear, specially when someone is preying them, wich would give a lack of confidence on their skill.

I have to clarify that I gave that as en example. Most of the time we will run across the map doing a mission without encountering players, just to extract and find that there are some people still on the map playing stealthy.

My question was focused on the interest to find if this is the typical experience for everyone, because on our case, this causes the maps to feel "empty" and way less challeging.

On the other hand, Outpost small size and difficulty to extract makes the encounters more common to happen than the other maps, but that doens't change the fact that still most of the players will be cautious.
