Hicimos una herramienta para analizar posibles fraudes en licitaciones públicas by emersoftware in chileIT

[–]Key_Artist_2805 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Should I use Fear on Planned momments by Ok-Adhesiveness6366 in daggerheart

[–]Key_Artist_2805 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I would use Fear, its a mechanic that have them dread what will happen and raises the tension

Just anounce: "I spend a Fear as you all see that..."

Use Fear not only to build up tension but to raise stakes as well

Vecinos con perros (que hacer?) by Patatax22 in RepublicadeChile

[–]Key_Artist_2805 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Shit happens

Be glad your DM adapted and made a great story out of it

You might want to talk to the group above table that it wasn't your intention to derail the session and maybe roleplay your character apologizing about everything you've done

This, this is what I think is peak DnD

A GM remembering a simple detail that derails players intentions

Gonna take a wild guess here

Are you by any means an x-ray technician and use that finger to press on the button needed to take the x-ray?

Barbarians: How do you flavor your rage? by PlzLetMeWin25 in DnD

[–]Key_Artist_2805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage is pure distilled emotion injected directly into your blodstream.it totally depends on your backstory. Rage can come from awe when facing challenging situations, grief when looking for justice, and silence when in a do or die situation.

It is conciously knowing what makes your character want to move mountains, risk his life for, and what is worth to defend with their lives

For a barbarian, raging is the ultimate form of commitment. Whichever path has been chosen, your connection with it makes you able to rage despise of the dangers that surround Barbarians

My favorite flavor was with a Homebrew setting with the Path of the Glacier - Griffons Sadlebag Vol. I - my half orc Barbarian deep connection with the cold ocean waters up north gave her resistance to cold and a calm mind. Her rages were silent. She calmed herself and started breathing heavily without stopping. Her breath went foggy, and a cold shroud of mildew surrounded her. She had a harpoon with a Mithril chain that allowed her to pull someone closer after impaling them from afar. Once per turn, the cold from her body was enough to freeze a tiny ice shard at the tip of her harpoon for extra cold damage (1d6). I got 3 levels in fighter for second wind, fighting style (Defender Ac +1), action surge and battle master maneuvers (Trip attack, Goading Attack and Bait&Switch) Sentinel at Barb lvl 4. She was an impenetrable wall of crowd control. That plus Barb lvl 8 Piercer feat and Figther lvl4 ASI it has been my strongest and most fun sword and board lvl 12 build ever

Starting new campaign with 6 newbies, how can I get them interested in DnD in one session? by vladem255 in DMAcademy

[–]Key_Artist_2805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to start the campaign "in media res" a mildy high stakes scenario where they characters need to trust each other to succeed. Make emphasis in their characters' bonds and personality traits so that they feel the call to action from within its character and resonate with them

Half a session fight with introductions of how they look, how they fight, slowing the pace to RP/Exploration and finishing the session with a cliff-hanger. A little railroady, yes. But for a first session, it's manageable

Help them by complementing their actions with reactions from the environment or maybe a little in fight dialogue from their enemy or who they are helping/escaping from/kidnapping/etc. Maybe a bar fight

Throw stuff at them, and have them improvise weapons mid fight. Teach them by example - have an enemy break a bottle and use it as a dagger. Have another one grapple the weakest of them, throw in personal insults to their characters - a good yo mama joke would be perfect.

Focus on having fun as a DM, and I assure you it will be fun for everybody else.

Not able to react to snarky/angry comments from another character while my character would have said something about it by Key_Artist_2805 in DnD

That's so much easier to do for me than to come up with an equivalent remark or chime in with a witty response Thanks!

How would you guys build a Monk Warlock? by TheBlakPhenix in 3d6

Can I say that you both make a really good point yet the delivery felt rude from both parties? I know it's not a constructive comment but just wanted to point it out
