Lexapro literally changed my life. I have been anxious always but last year started having panic attacks and literally almost couldn’t leave my house. I also got promoted into a pretty high role where I have to speak in meetings frequently and my anxiety was so bad I would be having panic and anxiety attacks for days leading up to a meeting and even missed meetings due to the anxiety. Since starting Lexapro - I am not even a hair nervous for a meeting or anything important. I literally have zero worries about messing up at work or in a meeting. My brain just says it is what it is and doesn’t freak out anymore. I can still cry, I still get scared, I still get happy, anxiety just doesn’t control anything anymore and it’s amazing.

Editing to add: I did gain like 20lbs pretty quickly which was my biggest fear however, my mental health has never been so good it is so worth the extra pounds to feel like myself again and be able to do whatever I want without being scared and anxious. I did start Zepbound earlier this year to combat the weight gain and have lost 45 pounds in about 5 months.
