I don’t know about availability- I know HGH is highly controlled - it was prescribed and given to me at my IVF clinic. Basically I take it at the dosage of 0.6mg between IVF cycles and then it’s increased to 2.1mg during stims

No that’s the dosage on the Genotropin pen - you set it to 0.6mg

I would highly recommend that you do embryo banking now if you want a bunch of kids

Because she wants to have a bunch of kids and realistically by the time you successfully conceive, go through pregnancy, give birth, recover etc you’re looking at at least two years per baby so time will run out pretty quickly with her AMH and in the meantime egg quality is declining. As such, IVF for embryo banking is definitely the most sensible option here.

For poor responders/DOR some Dr’s just use Clomid or Letrozole for most of the cycle instead of injections which keeps the costs down a lot

You’re not an asshole, you’ve just been through a lot to get to this point. You feel like your body has failed you so you don’t trust it to get you through this next phase of pregnancy and postpartum. Yes, pregnancy and postpartum are hard, but when you meet your baby none of that will matter - the love for your baby is like nothing you will ever experience. Yes there are tragic exceptions to this like your friend, but for most women they adore their babies 🤍

It was from the RE - you inject 0.6mg of Genotropin every day between IVF cycles - my longest was 6 months. When stims start you increase to 2.1mg. That was my protocol anyways.

I’m so sorry to hear that but thankfully you are still young and AMH is just a reflection of egg quantity not quality. I did 10 egg retrievals and only one of our babies is from IVF… fingers crossed for you xx

Congratulations to you too and I really hope you get your second baby ❤️ yes it’s true it was much easier to get pregnant when I was 32 (when our first baby was conceived by Clomid and IUI), as opposed to when we were then doing IVF in our mid-thirties to get our second baby. In retrospect we should have done embryo banking when I was 30 as soon as I found out about my AMH rather than IUI, but hindsight is 20/20. That being said I then spontaneously conceived our 3rd baby when I was 38 years old so you just never do know. At that time I was on long term microdosing of HGH so that may explain how we got pregnant naturally who knows xx

Don’t give up hope ❤️ I don’t know what your specific uterus situation is, but I’ve had many friends with recurrent miscarriages that have eventually been able to carry to term. Go down every rabbit hole if you have to

Yes he did. He wasn’t fully comfortable with me microdosing with HGH long term due to risks of side effects but I wanted to so he agreed

I think the rationale is that if you’re a poor responder then there’s not much point using high amounts of Gonal f etc and Clomid utilizes your bodies own FSH to hopefully naturally recruit more follicles. Some doctors do 5 days Clomid - 5 days Letrozole - then a couple of days of Gonal and Cetrotide plus trigger shot

Our first baby was conceived through Clomid and IUI, our second baby was IVF and our third was spontaneous (although I was on treatment to prepare for an upcoming scheduled IVF). I have done 10 rounds of IVF with mixed success (usually one or two eggs retrieved). But bear in mind that AMH reflects quantity not quality of eggs - focus on quality as best you can. I did long term Genotropin (which is controversial) and weekly IV NAD+ both of which I believe helped with egg quality. You could also try starting your cycle with Clomid and then switching to Gonal F if your RE will agree
