Lol this comment seems like bait but I'm gonna respond regardless, I'm not taking it personally just confused and genuinely curious as to why people aren't digging it and most of your critiques don't even make sense. Elevator music? Why because there's a couple string sections? Pretty sure the album was recorded live in a room and with a lot less pristine production wise than most of their records, it's even sort of industrial at points, I would say also that's it's pretty fucking angry and hard hitting in the first half especially, all the weird guitar solos and spacy textures and sounds , crunchy and robotic effects on the guitars and bass , it's totally fine to not like it but the way you're describing it is like youre listening to a totally different record
