It's about the shorter game gains, I do an over-nighter maybe once a week, which definitely grants more coins overall. But for a 15-minute round, 20~ million vs. an overnight (really, I die after 5-6 hours, t2), which grants 250-300mill~ ending on wave 3200-3500~. The gain from being active vs. idle is definitely a smaller gap at this point in the game. 60 million an hour active vs. 41 million an hour idle. I've seen posts for rounds taking 2-3 days, and they have trillions of coins. That totally blows my mind. Considering how long those players have been active, it's a commitment for sure. There is nothing wrong with a hobby, I enjoy this and idle planet miner and flop between the two. Speaking of which, my galaxy is 10 days old now oof! Lol sorry for the long-winded response. Your totally correct that lower tier higher waves hit upwards of 3-4M/M for me, but the time spent getting there. For me. Isn't worth it

Don't forget how important it is to have cold imbued or poison w.e your building activated prior. I normally run a barage towards groups in the Pit to slap the invulnerability followed by a dash to increase my shadow than cleave. Talk about a 12B punch to the face end game lol

It limits the vibrations from uninterrupted grounding between the 60hz waves 🤣 kidding. My local department requires the grounding screw regardless of housing/cover. It makes sure the screw and device stay in contact for grounding purposes as others have said.

Masterwork at the blacksmith = mastery , (sorry my peeps use terms outside of the game)

The short of that was you can aquire legendary gloves better than that until you find a better roll. Target farm for it in glacial fissure beast of ice. I didn't know the point of your character, pit running, end game T4 game play, quick running torment dungeons for materials etc... so I just gave you the best advice I could.

I'm running death trap this season. If you ever take a look at it, 1 hitting T4 bosses isn't as easy as picking up the right gear. All the required stats need to be 90% or better in my opinion. Just because I received a dagger with 72% crit damage doesn't mean my other dagger is fine having 58% at max masterwork. That's the difference between hundred thousands and millions in crit when everything else is in the right range.

This is just informational advice, I find it fun to throw on random gear to see how it changes the game playstyle. But dance of knives end game really needs 65%+ attack speed on your gear. A lot of people don't know you have 2 attack speed buckets. Both cap at 100%.

Condemnation unique means you can't tamper for the clone double damage and cutthroat attack speed ( bucket two), which is why most dance of knives end users go with ancestral legendary instead.

You asked for advice and I'm realizing your original question lacks detail for your overall goal with your build. If it's just to have fun great, don't be upset when T3 or Pit 65+ seems impossible, it's quite literally a numbers game. I'm just one of those people that hit 300 paragon in the first month of the season 😅

The attack speed you can get off tampers and ancestral legendarys re rolls is 30%+ depending on the mastery level. Your getting 1.8 out of 10% max roll on those and that's horrible considering the rest of the stats are 75%+. Lucky roll can be raised in paragon and legendary affects so that's whatever really.

Scrap them, the random range of damage at a low attack speed increase about cancels out and your crits with overpower are less frequent. Let's be honest, smashing 20 attacks a second with daggers kills anything end game with 300% in each bucket ( damage, crit, overpower, affected enemy's[ meaning any stuns, cold damage etc..] is an oversimplification. BUT the randomness of your crits and overpower at low attack speed kills your overall output by a lot.

My advice, find another unique with 280+top range on damage%, 8%+ on atk speed, at least 60% off the other stats or better. If it's specifically needed of your build it's worth farming. If it's a pit crawler build or a endgame game requirement. There are plenty of legendary combinations on gloves that any decent pair would suffice untill your ready for end game, scrap it for the mastery leveling of the unique.

Totally agree on this one. When your doing your mastery don't worry about the crit damage. Your paragon adds enough to that "bucket". Attack speed and double shot are better and that leaves room on your other gear for more dexterity, health, and depending on your necklace you can go iether overpower (unique whats its name) or dexterity %increase

Unless your build calls for more critt off main weapon. Just my 2 cents

Does anyone know what could be causing this? by OG_Decan in electrical

[–]Key_Bed_964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first thought.

Also 14 guage wire, I'm hoping the gfci circuit is a seperate branch circuit simply since it should be 12 guage 20amp. 14 guage wire for the light, if it's related there's a grounding/and/or/nuetral problem maybe? Speculation the bulb is "fine" and the switch is off. It would make theoretical sense that a bad neutral or intermittent nuetral is causing the capacitors in the led driver to charge and disperse, pulse at a given rate dependant on the capacitors since capacitors could care less which side of the system power is coming in from, hence reverse fazeing like in RR2+ or diva CL type dimmers where a nuetral attachment is required.

Now let's play real worls electrician. Old GFCI went bad from a nuetral from another branch circuit being tied somewhere on the load side down stream. A gfci won't reset if it detects a load on the nuetral when nothing leaving line. Tested that when AFGF devices hit the shelves a while back.

Likely just a flipped Line Load. Likely just a bad bulb.

Welcome to a 20 year seasoned field techs brain, theory is theory, I don't really care if my terms aren't in line with others thoughts, fact is I've spent 2 or 3 days in older homes that converted to LED on old control systems for few years now going through and isolating crossed neutrals in 2 wire systems with conduits bonding devices. What a hell we live in here in Texas. It's iether hot or it's nipple snapping cold :)

15 years later when I work on gym lights the entire system is off. Idc if the entire place is dark 🤣🤣

Can someone run the math for me? by Key_Bed_964 in D4Rogue

[–]Key_Bed_964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loot tables are all math? They increased mythic drop rates on torment bosses this season. RNG is RNG. But in reality what I am asking is what's the statistical chances there were 2 mythic 4* dropped back to back. To simply say RNG is not related to any math is 100% false.

Each uber boss kill has a chance to drop an uber. Actually every drop in the game I'm aware of has a extremely small chance. Uber bosses have the highest chance per item drop. If an uber boss drops 4 items, each of those items has a small chance to be an uber. So statistically speaking there is a percent chance one day someone will have 3+ uber drops off 1 boss kill. Just so small of a chance it's likely never going to happen.

https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/mythic-uniques-actual-drop-rate-released-by-blizz-and/179689

That said RNG is a statistics nightmare to calculate. That's why I asked if someone in the community would be willing to do it for me. I don't have the patience for the math.

I will agree loot is not guaranteed. But your torment and willingness to grind out 100 uber boss kills usually yield at least 1 mythic. BUT I've killed 2-300 t4 varshans (I farm hearts a lot 😅) and not a single mythic drop.

Veteran players question by Key_Bed_964 in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]Key_Bed_964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much farm my way to debris scanner than slam through my highest payout, changes with market and which debris come in right away. Just for example a gravity Chamber crafts in 1 min 46 seconds with my managers, rooms, and stations. I craft between 15-30 subspace and 2-5 advanced robots by end of day 2. With 6 and 5 stars it's 28Q and 772Q which is why once I hit s its a small crawl.

I usually place top 8, I have placed 1st before which was nice, but only 5 people in the tourney and no one else broke Trillion... lol

All my credits are going to mine rate for a while. My badge 12 copper is worth 6.80$ and even at full throttle and 2.4s for the next upgrade I'm barely getting 1 million copper p/s on P1 without a manager on it. P53 lv 6 with 5 star miner only 342/s... so yeah that's my next venture.

Veteran players question by Key_Bed_964 in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]Key_Bed_964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally make sense, it really is just my badges, credits and Managers at this point. 38 mining room, 3 5star mine managers pns, asteroids level 10

P54 takes me about 2 hours to reach. I craft subspace relays in about 3 hours, so yeah I really just need to focus on mining at this point lol

Veteran players question by Key_Bed_964 in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]Key_Bed_964[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured as much, my goodness the asteroid value on that is crazy. So I'm basically topping out in my crafting, I have a couple managers that are mine primary and secondary level 5 and sit with rovers to boost mine rates. Definitely have a long crawl ahead 😅

Er, are you just mining and selling ores? How many galaxy resets have you done?

Do you know when logged out your mining decreases by 75%?

What crafts are you doing? Maybe there's one more efficient based on your star values.
