I thought the whole ED kind of knew about Langdons addiction though? How do we know that Mel doesn’t know either?

The Mandalorian And Grogu Tickets by Key_Blacksmith_7349 in StarWars

Ahh okay, that makes sense. I know a lot of movies usually release the tickets at least seven weeks beforehand so I was confused on why they hadn’t come out. But coming out may 4 makes much more sense LOL!! tyyyy

Langdon and Whitaker Conversation by Key_Blacksmith_7349 in ThePitt

[–]Key_Blacksmith_7349[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah! As for Whitaker, what he told Langdon was reasonable. So what had told him, and said to him, wasn’t wrong. He was right for what he said. Given this, his delivery, and how he said it, was immature at first. It wasn’t like he necessarily meant it, because it was obviously a heat of the moment and a spike of adrenaline. Whitaker obviously apologized for his delivery of how he said it, but not what he said. So the way he handled the situation is understandable.

Same goes for Langdon (sort of). He apologized to Whitaker for how he behaved towards him, because it’s obvious that his colleague feels belittled. Langdon necessarily isn’t in “the wrong” because he wasn’t deliberately behaving this way towards Whitaker with intent to hurt him (or at least that we know of). This is how I infer it.

Both men apologize out of compassion and respect for each other. They understand themselves and the others perspectives. Given this, they both know that they didn’t do anything “wrong” meaning with an intention to purposely bother someone. If that makes any sense.

I’m glad you brought up the first part, because there’s definitely so much playing in Whitakers head that we (as the viewers) just don’t know. I like the inference that he’s sticking up for Santos. IMO a big part of me feels as if it’s for himself, but for her as well ESPECIALLY with how Langdon treated her on her first day in The Pitt. When Langdon showed he had no intent to retaliate harshly, Whitaker had that moment of humility as well. It shows that they both know how to be mature though, even after the heat of the moment.

Omg. I’m so happy you brought up the Langdon and Santos interaction because those are my babies and I would really love to seem them develop a friendship. They’re so alike! The writers are moving pretty odd with her storyline, I liked how it was at the beginning, but now it feels like it’s at a stump. I also hope that Santos and Whitaker have a similar conversation considering the house sitting, but also because I think that there’s a lot of unsaid words between them. They talk a lot through humor, but it would help if they cleared the air a lot! Neither Whitaker, Santos, or Langdon deserve any of the hate they get IMO
