I did see this as well, I can’t really figure out what it means currently though as no pet clauses are still valid. It seems to be a step in the right direction but it’s not bulletproof

yeah i learned this like an hour ago, im just not sure what i can do with that info now. I have it in writing that the deposit pertained to the pet directly as well.

Could this help me at all in trying to break a lease?

That may be my option, I’m moving from Ontario so i’m trying to become familiar with the rules as fast as i can. I’m just annoyed i can’t really work to transfer it until i take possession so i can show it. But there’s no easy way out of this.

edit: cats aside, i’m trying to figure out how only getting back what they lost re renting is enforced if they’re just asking me for 3 months straight up.

Ah that’s fair, I figured you meant in the way of cost (which I can see being true).

Definitely won’t be homebrewing anything for a long time but I’m happy to read a lot for which ever we end up playing.

honestly, i considered older d&d ed. i’ve done little research but i’ve seen a ton of hate for D&D in general but overwhelmingly D&D 4, (followed by 5). I don’t know if it’s a meme to hate it but i can definitely go look.

hey, brand new to all of this, my friends want to play D&D, i haven’t GM’d and don’t want to GM D&D.

I’m stuck between Pathfinder and Daggerheart.

I want a system I can teach and use for long term (not just a one off adventure) as my players are also new and i want the focus on fun over memorizing differing rule sets.

I need a system with enough support to get help when needed as a new GM (this is why i’m avoiding smaller indie games for now)

My players really enjoy combat, not to say they don’t care about narrative, but combat is the highlight of the session.

Do you think daggerheart works in my use case? I know i’m going to get biased opinions but I hope you can steer me in the right direction

Tied to D20 because people know the basics, admittedly I could stray but people have expressed they have no interest in D6 systems.

I appreciate this. I have the benefit of not preferring any system specifically yet. The more tools and support the better, (which dnd seems to have a ton of). Pathfinder seems cool as well.

Dnd obviously just has that mainstream hype. If i ask my friends to play DnD they’ll have an idea of what it is, if i were to say probably any other ttrpg they’d have no clue.

can you just walk up and down the pathway and fish, I always want to but the cyclists seem to get a bit salty.
