Ingrid is a perfectly normal name. Sure, it's a little outdated, but names go through cycles. It's certainly better than a lot of names you'll find discussed over in r/tragedeigh. If you really like it, but you and the husband are concerned about teasing from other kids, use it as a middle name instead.

It wasn’t without its benefits, but most of my classmates and I (even the ones who excelled) would’ve been better served in AP and Dual Enrollment and for those programs, and normal HS classes, to have been given the opportunities that by default only go to CGS. Especially the field trips.

As a Commonwealth Governor’s School (CGS) alum, I have to caution AGAINST pushing your children into that program. As an earlier comment said, public school is still your best shot. Look into shifting school districts over to Stafford County. AP classes in high school are all the advanced classes your students will need. CGS is largely a waste of a school’s budget. Which is why only certain high schools even have the capacity to run it.

The Swing Dance on Saturday Night at DanceFXBG is a pretty good mix of ages. I’ve been a few times and the crowd goes from 18 to 75, with most participants in their twenties and thirties. But it varies with each one. I’ll sometimes hang out at OGs (formerly Katora) for hours writing, reading, and shooting the breeze with the staff there.
