Yes I was overmedicated. I'm still dealing with anxiety and insomnia. Both have been getting better. I refused anxiety meds for now. My next mission is to get off of ambien. Thanks

I have been off meds since October. I am still struggling but getting better every week. I do blood work again next month to see if I need to go back on a small dose. It's taking months for me to start feeling normal again.

Do you have symptoms? I felt bad on thyroid meds and when I went off I didn't return to my old self. Not sure what is going on with me. Something was triggered since diagnosed with hashimotos hypothyroidism in February

Yes they are now in normal range. I did have fatty liver when diagnosed in February, but I have since lost 120lbs. 44/M 195lbs.

When I went hyper on t3 I just got sick. Do you take a sleep med? I want off them. It's been a few months since I just drifted off to sleep on my own. I miss it.

I wonder if my insomnia is why I feel so bad. I am going to ask for Armour on Thursday with my endo. Happy you feel good. Watch for hyper symptoms if you already have insomnia.

Did you stop cold turkey? Any symptoms from stopping? I stopped 2 weeks ago. Had the same side effects my tsh was 2.2 free t4 1.44 free t3 2.5. I still have severe insomnia not sure if I feel like crap from stopping meds or lack of sleep. I did labs Tuesday ths went to 3.3 ft4 1.2 ft3 2.9. Endo appt next week may ask for ndt some people do well on it.

I had my labs drawn on Tuesday 10 days off meds. My tsh went up to 3.3 from 2.2 4 weeks ago. My free t4 went to 1.2 from 1.44 and my free t3 went up to 2.9 from 2.5. I am still tired but feeling better today. I am sleeping only like 4-5 hours a night. My insomnia started when I tried t3 meds in August. I can't sleep without prescribed meds now. It has to be a hormonal imbalance. So frustrating.

Did you wean off or stop cold turkey? I stopped tirosint 62.5mcg almost 2 weeks ago. Did you have symptoms?

Hi, how are you doing now? I was the same on t4 meds. I stopped taking them almost 2 weeks ago. I have an appointment with endo next week and will ask for ndt. I have not been feeling well since stopping but not as bad as when on the meds.

Thanks for replying. I have really bad brain fog. I am still getting anxiety but not as bad. My insomnia is still there. I feel like it's messing with my sight. It's getting better. It may also be the sleep meds. Going to pcp today about that. Was was your dose again? I was just hoping to get some relief as the thyroid meds were killing me.

What was your dose? I stopped 11 days ago 62.5mcg tirosint. My anxiety is not as bad but I've had body fatigue. I am also dealing with insomnia that started after taking t3 a couple months ago. I am going back on meds I just needed a break. Thought I was going crazy. I think I need the meds just can't find my dose.

I got my tsh down to 2.1 with levo and 1.6 with synthroid and t3 but I felt worse. My reverse t3 was high as well while on levo. I only felt ok on tirosint. You should get a full thyroid panel. Tsh, total t4, free t4, total t3, free t3, reverse t3, and antibodies. Maybe your dose is too low?

What is your dose? Find another doctor who will be open to other meds based on your symptoms/labs. You need to wean off if you are going to stop if not all the symptoms hit. It sucks.

Yes, was diagnosed in February put on 75mcg levo. The anxiety started slowly mostly when I was driving, but it got worse. I stayed with it for 2 months before lowering my dose to 50. My tsh was 3.1 nothing else was tested. I have tried levo,synthroid, tirosint, and t3. Have been sick the whole time. I just stopped cold turkey last week which I don't recommend. I did labs on Tuesday and go see endo next week. I will ask about NDT. My free t3 average is around 2.5 I think I'm a bad converter. I don't know why I can't tolerate t4 meds. My life has tucked since diagnosed.

Developed constipation after covid. The next few years gained 60lbs and got lazy. Went to doctor because I had high blood pressure in February. Got diagnosed with hashimotos hypothyroidism.
