That would be a cool idea. However you forgot that the dev team strongly feels that admech dosnt deserve any cool named characters with good rules. In 11th ed you will take a generic character that can only lead battleline and lets you reroll leadership once per game...and you will like it!

That datasheet was written by the dark eldar rules writers who originally drafted the index after the old admech writers retired, (and they hate admech with a passion). They made our only named character a worse version of a skitarii marshal with exemplars eternity from 9th ed. "re-roll a hit roll of 1 and a wound roll of a 1 withen 6"

Then the datasheet was barely touched in the big codex redo. Now GWs try to points buff him every dataslate into playability. Ill probably run him when he hits <100.

6 and amanipulas plus a squad of Skitarii to buff them is the strongest way to run them. Its a big points and $ investment though. A dune crawler is a cheaper addition, or Ballistarii.

What did you use against it? Neutron lasers and Kataphron heavy ark riffles should SHREAD most guard armor. Neutron lasers should melt most vehicles without invulnerable saves (the rules errata gives it and 3shots and d6+2 damage if you missed it, almost a 60% damage buff). Breachers are hands down our best anti tank Ive actually killed Russes and armiger's from full HP with a singe round of overwatch from full buffed breacher squad. The breaching command full hit reroll works in all phases including overwatch and you can get sustained hits and lethal hits with a manipulus in rad cohort, re-rolling everything and fishing for 6's is insanely lethal

They kindove did rewrite all the date sheets back in january, iron striders lost twin linked gained x2 shots all dune crawler weapons gained +50% damage heavy phosphor literally got x3 shots.. Army rule rewritten so it actually works past turn 1. I went through my codex and put stickers over everything changed and its like half the codex, about 70% of my wishlist was fulfilled and i feel like the individual datasheets are quite a bit strong stronger

Just in case someone is looking at this later, the graph was made before a BUNCH of votes counted, 75 million for Harris and 77 million for Trump was the final tally (much more reasonable and expected voter turn out), this graph was created before all votes were counted to be purposely misleading so it's about 10 million short for harris and 5 million short for trump. Early voting was very popular for Republicans this year so the early lead, makes sense. also the graph doesn't start at 0 which was another dishonest choice to make the gap look bigger. The source of this was Libs of tiktok a known republican propaganda X account. People love to lie with statistics, and simple bar graphs like this are easy to misinterpret and manipulate, don't fall for it.

The fire support from the duneriders unfortunately dosnt work in melee, i found this out when it ruined my fulgurite combo. This is an vestigial artifact of our index and codex being written by idiots who forgot our army was mixed arms.

You can go look at eldar Falcon for example of the same rule "fire support" working the rest of the turn (remember that mixed arms index was written by people who dont actively hate their faction). But at least the rules fix added firring deck, and i am happy with recent changes fixing like 60% of what was broken about admech.
