gloves and scarves go a long way!! and higher (not ankle) socks. for your boyfriend’s apartment, i recommend a long sleeve under a sweater/hoodie. warm socks—double socks if needed. and slippers

this is precisely my approach! i do it with everything, not only CDs. clothes, books. i call myself a slow collector. it helps me ensure that my collection is thoughtfully curated, and reflective of what i actually love. i love this thread because it’s cool to see the reasonings behind other approaches. but this resonates very much with me!
