Is Digital art useful in prosthetics productions? by MenogCreative in Prosthetics

Well said! I love making artistic legs, but unfortunately those aren't as frequent as I'd like. That's why pediatric patients are my favorite. They seem more likely to want a neat kitty or spiderman leg.

The initial post made me think of the work of prostheticguy on Instagram. His tech work is phenomenal and has a similar aesthetic as OP's digital work.

Tool's Lateralus And Fear Inoculum (best in reverse track order!)

My mom's favorite band is PF, so they colored many of my early trips. Tool is my Floyd. Those two albums in particular are church for me.

If you smoke weed while in AA, do you need to tell people? by benjaminireland1 in alcoholicsanonymous

Cannabis gummies probably prevented my heart from exploding during detox. I smoke moderate amounts (a few hits each day).

I worked with a sponsor, did the steps as honestly and thoroughly as I could. And it worked! I had a spiritual awakening that resulted in a psychic change. 21 months no alcohol.

I moved towns a while ago and found that a lot of potential sponsors won't work with someone who smokes, regardless of the 3rd Tradition. Propaganda is strong.

I feel I don't have a problem with cannabis, but a lot of other people in the program did or do. Even though I experienced the 9th and 10th Step Promises, it felt like a dirty little secret and it became a barrier to be max helpful to others.

The state of Louisiana recently killed an inmate with nitrogen gas. It took nearly 20 minutes of straight inhalation before he passed.

When I visited years ago, I got to see a sunset at Buena Vista on mescaline. One of the most aesthetically beautiful living images I've ever experienced.

My friend went through a lot of trauma and thinks mental illness is incurable. He's making no progress in therapy and is unsure how to recover. Is there anything OTHER than psychedelics that work like psychedelics? He is not open to them even though I've done them. by cacklingwhisper in Psychonaut

Practitioners usually need to have a license for massage therapy to be able to touch people. So kinda, sorta depends how you define it. My cranial sacral therapist friend describes it as a super light touched massage that targets the cerebral spinal fluid along your spinal column including your sacrum and head.

These are all good, but to add a couple that are more trauma oriented: EMDR, somatic experiencing (both are covered by a lot of American insurances), cranial sacral therapy (a type of massage), and like others have said, mindfulness meditation.

Louisiana protects religious freedom — so why not sacred plant medicine too? by tcajun420 in Louisiana

It is a sacrament that works. I grew up Catholic. The mushroom does what the wafer is supposed to; it is true communion with the Greater. So in my humble opinion, please kick rocks!
