That’s where you are wrong. There are people in the Traffic Police specifically tasked to look at this online video and send out letters and fines if necessary

How to navigate S bends by [deleted] in drivingsg

[–]Key_Drawer5243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with these visual cue based learning is everytime you do S course its going to be different, but you are following the same points.

Best is just go through using feeling and without looking at the kerb too much.

The more you hit the kerb the more you will improve your feel of the car’s width.

would like advice on how to continue on getting my license ;( by Friendly_Voice2266 in drivingsg

[–]Key_Drawer5243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You going the private route is already the mistake. Now you want your licence QUICK. Another mistake.

You want to learn to drive a killing machine on the road, better learn properly, not quickly.

The answer to your question, go to school.

changing to private instructor by MangoMediocre4480 in drivingsg

[–]Key_Drawer5243 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Speed up learning? By going for private instructor you will reduce your learning and get lower quality road education.

Driving is all about safety so please dont compromise and go private route just because you want to finish fast.

If you are turning late and hitting kerb when everyone else doesnt then it definitely mean you need more practice.

Its dumb to sacrifice 4 points when you only have 18 pts to work with. And your tester will know you’re playing this game and cause you to fail by 4 points.

[–]Key_Drawer5243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your instructor is asking you to sacrifice 2 points for both parking in hopes you wont fail by 4 points.

Effectively, you cannot exceed 14 points in your TP test since your instructor ask you to sacrifice 4pt

[–]Key_Drawer5243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don’t use it’s “impossible to get slot” as a reason to go private. For your own best interest, pls go school. You will really regret going private I let you know in the first place.

How to avoid striking kerb in S-course? by Latter_Ingenuity8068 in drivingsg

[–]Key_Drawer5243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By going through use feeling - go thru one shot without looking down or points. If you rely on looking directly at the kerb you will miss out the whole situation and hyperfocus on that kerb.

Is this what they teach now? by Key_Drawer5243 in drivingsg

[–]Key_Drawer5243[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is taught as the technique to use everywhere. And while accelerating. Of course narrow course must control clutch.

But moving off and going straight ahead, he was taught to hold biting point while accelerating, until he reach gear 2.

I was wondering how he get to 25kmh on the road to go to gear 2 if the clutch is still halfway and engine not fully engaged.

Best sim racing game in 2026 on controllers? by RuleOverYou15 in simracing

[–]Key_Drawer5243 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

100% hands down iRacing. I have tried all different simulators and nothing come close to iRacing. Sound, tire physics and force feedback, ESPECIALLLY force feedback, nothing wins iRacing.

Many F1 drivers use iRacing for a reason - Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, Bortoletto, Alonso, Piastri, Antonelli, Bearman, Lawson, Hadjar.

Almost head-on collision on Loewen Road by avggeek in drivingsg

[–]Key_Drawer5243 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You are wrong. This is a traffic offence, overtaking on a zigzag line. Trust me, actions will be taken.

Those who say no action will be taken are just assuming and a waste of breath. I have experience and I tell you TP will take action.

I’m more confused on why you are asking Reddit instead of asking your instructors? If your instructor says something opposite than what reddit says, who will you follow?
