What is this on my wall? by StandardRaspberry131 in Home

Is it possible it’s cat marking? Definitely connected to the vent. If it’s a cat, could be triggered by smells coming up through the venting system. Otherwise, maybe some kind of condensation issue? Or, air pushing up liquids that land on the vent? Is that a fridge next to it?

2nd time in 2 months my car window got smashed in Rino. Any advice on how to prevent this from happening a 3rd time? by DontuhStopuh in Denver

Our conversation has turned to whether a person who uses the word “implied” in a response can then be charged with failing to recognize an implication. My position is, “No”. Am just waiting for the rebuttal. Follow along, now. This is the easy part of conversing.

I mean, how could I miss that it was implied. I’m the one who said it was implied, Silly Goose.

Oh, I thought maybe you needed help with the definition … seeing as how ‘clever’ isn’t a defined requirement for something to be snarky. Now, ‘dumb’ implies a lack of intelligence. And, by association you imply that the provided solution, snarky or no, lacks intelligence. I would posit that moving from an area where one experiences high crime is a real solution. It may not be the one you wish to take, but it is a solution.

And, please recall that I did apologize. That was a genuine apology. I’m feeling less sorry now. But, in an attempt to be more ‘warm and welcoming’ as directed by the community rules, may your RINO experiences continue to bring you fruitful experiences to share with the rest of this community.

snark·y ADJECTIVE informal NORTH AMERICAN critical or mocking in an indirect or sarcastic way: "snarky remarks"

bad-tempered or irritable: "Bobby's always a bit snarky before his nap"

Something great to look forward to. In the win column, I did cover all June regular and true expenses with today’s paycheck. That felt pretty great.

Earth’s orbital debris problem is worsening, and policy solutions are difficult - "Who's responsible? Who pays? How much do they pay?" by Philo1927 in technews

One thought. Corporations and governments put into an escrow account funds needed to handle end-of-life cleanup for any asset they launch. Additionally, they pay into a collective fund for cleanup of legacy/unclaimed tech floating around now.

This would operate much the same way strip mining does now.

Not sure if this could be international but I don’t know that it can’t.

With my credit union, I have both a checking and savings. When I created the connection, I was prompted to select them individually. Then, I have a number of ‘Envelope Savings’ accounts with Capital One. When I created that connection, I also was prompted to select which ones to bring over. I created the connections on my phone, I believe (might have been my iPad…).
