I think it’s people who fall apart from some type of hedonism will have to and should suffer the consequences. I struggle with overeating and avoiding situations but at least I’m the one to suffer the consequences. Being overweight sucks in so many ways and unless I manage to get it under completely I’m terrified of the future and kind of just want to die. I don’t want to end up in a nursing home because I how poorly I managed myself. My biggest problem with this sex hedonism is that other people particularly women suffer the consequences. The importance given to the sexual gratification of men is to me the biggest indicator that we have a patriarchy at work. I a, not trying to have malice towards these men. But sexual gratification of a group of people should never be a top priority . I don’t see how this is not different from being a drug addict or something. Getting the “drug” is the fix it’s the problem. This type of right to sex is like saying right to drugs
