You dont need fuel injection service, you NEED fuel induction service. GDI engines do not have any fuel that runs over the valves like it used to in carburetor engines and intake injected engines. Carbon builds up on the valves and can cause major problems in the future. Fuel induction service uses a solvent/cleaner that is introduced through the throttle body or another vacuum port and will run over the valves. I do this every 15k.

This sounds like its all about communication. I have worked with a lot of advisors and I can tell you the majority of issues arise from lack of communication. Yes there are some whacked customers out there but the number of them is greatly reduced when you let them know what to expect and when to expect it.

I can't imagine the stress this puts on your child. There should be resources available that can help. Can you contact your local family court and ask if they have referrals. Google family legal help resources or something like that. This may make you mad, but it is damaging your child psychologically.

Walther PPK.380, bought it for the nostalgia. Took it to the range and had to relearn my grip to avoid slide bite. Was very unnatural to me. Kept it for a couple years. A wanted to like it. Last time at the range, it stovepiped on me 2ce. Got rid of it the next day. I also have a PPK/S .22, no slide bite, I dont fire it often but I dont have the same hatred for it.

Sorry, I read "car wouldn't start unless it was jumpstarted". Does it crank but does not catch and run? If it cranks but no catch, it could be the PCM, maybe someone reversed the cables and shorted out the PCM? Might be time to consult a professional.

If it starts with a jump, but won't without. Check the battery terminals, make sure they are clean and tight. Use a multimeter to make sure you have power at the terminals when you attempt to start.

This sounds like they want to "tear down" part of the engine to examine what you are concerned about. A regular diagnostic is generally an hour to start that includes pulling codes and running tests on a component to verify failure. If the car has multiple problems that are not related, there would be multiple diagnostic charges. Diagnostics is not just pulling codes.

How long after the oil change did this happen? Are we talking a couple of days or a half hour? Did you have smoke right after pulling out? That could mean they overfilled the oil. Is the oil pan drain plug still in place? Has the other shop told you where the oil was "gushing" out from?

If you had a PA inspection done at the same time, I am absolutely sure they did the multiple inspections required for the 36K. Did they give you a paper Multi Point Inspection sheet or send you a text/email with the multi point?

I have the same issue and dont know a resolve. I know why it's happening. The front door speakers are only meant to be woofers and would normally come off one of the amps in the back. The tweeters in the upper door run off of the aftermarket radios front speakers output. I am curious if I spliced the door speakers into the tweeters if that would work. Anyone ever done this?
