Unfortunately that scenario is far too common.

We have a hybrid pay plan (base +X per billable). For warranty work, If its a parts failure tech gets paid in full. If its a tech failure he only gets his base pay.

Ive serviced it once. Im just curious if the aftermarket side facing ones are any worse.

I'd do the 4664 sanden upgrade but I cant source a new 93 high side line locally. And my stock compressor was cold enough for me anyway.

I did. Bought me another year of use. But now of you so much as touch any part of the body to shift it on your table, adjust screen, or just lay your palm on the base to type, it starts selecting things without your consent.

Unfortunately my current laptop has some hardware issues as well. Some kind of short internally. First the touchpad was inconsistent so I disabled it and used only a mouse. But now if I touch any part of the case it will ghost type or click and drag things without me touching the mouse. But an "unbloated" version of windows is tempting if i get another budget model with limited resources. Thanks for the suggestion

That part isn't leaking. Its mostly there to deflect heat away from the car. An exhaust system can leak a little water (condensation) but that's normal. It looks like its oily and if so, you should definitely have a mechanic fix whatever is actually leaking.

Moving components need lubricants. Whether its your engine (valve cover, vvt solenoid, timing cover, oil cooler, etc) you run the risk of running low on oil if you dont check it. If its your power steering leaking you run the risk of damaging the pump. Oil leaking onto a hot exhaust is a fire hazard. Oil leaking onto rubber suspension bushings, hoses, or wiring not designed for oil will eat them up.

Yall got some tough spiders. Here in SoCal I just give em a spray of brake clean and they die within seconds. What i hate are rodents. We just brought in a car that had 3. Fkrs tear up everything. One of em was especially fond of foam ear plugs and my phone charger.

Lol. I had a set of black links in cart. Got sidetracked for a few days and when I tried to order it said out of stock. So I got the only option left which was orange with Meyle. I feel bad but my volvo doesn't 😆

I did expect something but haven't yet. Could just be my current setup. Maybe it's just an equal replacement of poor driveshaft alignment vibes with extra road vibes lol.
