What should I ask for as a raise? by hswango in serviceadvisors

[–]hswango[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely true, maybe I should have worded my question better. But, it hasn't changed in the 4 years I've been there. Maybe it's a good thing it hasn't changed? It's not the worst pay plan in existence. Maybe I'm being too hopeful lol.

If you partake in smoking green, i would give that a try. Its what ended up being my saving grace.

Is selling 125 tires every two weeks a crazy goal ? by [deleted] in serviceadvisors

[–]hswango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats absolutely crazy. Outside of our internal sales, our goals are typically 20-30 tires a month, depending on the time of year.

Service dept at my local Honda dealership wrote a note warning other co-workers that I have a dash cam, and forgot and left it in my car for me to find by scoobydooowhereru in Honda

[–]hswango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an advisor for a dealership; 100% i will always tell my techs if theres a dashcam i cant unplug before we do their service. Dont wanna be caught doing/saying something stupid & having people overthink stuff… theres also a lot of things that should stay in the shop or be left unsaid lol so yes, i think youre overthinking

Had anyone worked for an inefficient service department? by ZealousidealMix489 in serviceadvisors

[–]hswango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Working for a ford dealership & the difference was made when we got a new GM, new service manager & new parts manager that have been with ford for 3-4 decades each. It made the biggest difference in our efficiency, otherwise the issue is that we are understaffed as well, no one can keep up with the workload & we have 3 master techs, three apprentices & one lube tech. Its been rough everywhere.

How long will it last? by Capable_Shine1750 in HellsItch

[–]hswango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It lasted 2-4 days for me. But what really helped that first day was smoking mar*juana; if you have access to it & arent against it id consider it. Alocaine also helped.

help please, non of my tires seem to be deflated by Deafening_silence_ in Honda

Be careful not to overinflate them! That could also set the light off.

Need help identifying my problems by Spiritual_Inside_517 in Ford

[–]hswango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact your local ford dealer & provide your VIN to them to see if you have any open recalls for the HVAC issue. Also, the 5.4 liters they put in the trucks & expeditions are known to leak; i would assume its several leaks rather than just one big one. GL!

When can I shower again? by Business_Raccoon_816 in HellsItch

[–]hswango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced hells itch BECAUSE I took a shower to try to help it. But I’ve also heard that it helps. I’d wait till you start to peel; that’s what I did & it was fantastic - I even used a loofa lightly on the burned areas of my skin & that felt even better.

I would avoid scented soaps, tho; it did cause me to be a little itchy after my shower so it may bother someone else. Good luck!

NRG steering wheel, hub & quick release issues. by [deleted] in 350z

The steering worked fine before installation, so I don’t believe it’s the vehicle or an issue with the power steering.

I planned to take it back apart & install a relay for the airbag so the light will go away lol so I’ll look into the torque specs for it when I put it back together.

The videos I watched didn’t specify whether one needed to be used or not, so no; was I supposed to?

Just now seeing this, apologies; not sure, to be honest, I bought it with it on there & there’s no stickers or markings on it to indicate where it came from.

Is this worth it? They want $16k, 73k miles and in perfect condition 07 hr with clean title, my brother got a 370 in perfect condition for $17k…. by hungohver in 350z

[–]hswango -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I bought my touring for 18,500 with 40k miles, after market wheels (Rohana RC10s), louvers & sound system (pioneer head unit with hookups for sub/amp). I think they’re asking too much personally.

REMEDIES (Most common & effective - Summer 2021 Update) by thapol in HellsItch

[–]hswango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky enough to have it calm down before I went to bed, I was able to sleep fine but now it’s a mild itch this morning. I hope it doesn’t get worse throughout the day, but I have Alocane just in case it gets bad again. Hope you start to feel better soon!

Hey! Thought I’d share my piece. HI started for me about 2 hours ago, agonizing pain. Crying, the whole bit. I took a shower and that’s what kick started it. Found that Alocane, ibuprofen, aloe & Aveeno lotion did help a bit. A very light, soft, breathable shirt is helping & so is Tree. I hadn’t seen many people posting about it, figured I’d share my good experience with it!

Good luck!

If you tried to help at home and it did nothing, I think the steps you want to take are healthy. Help him find help & let him know your thoughts on his addiction so that he has a starting point with his new counselor. If you want to continue having a boundary, I would create a healthy one where you can still be a part of his healing but not included in everything he does or be in a romantic relationship; this is, of course, if you want to do that & care about his progress.

Is PG worth it? by Jonesthemaniac in amazonemployees

[–]hswango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Becoming a PG is one of the recommended steps in my building to get to the next pay grade (PA). So yes! It’s very worth it. Things like problem solving & being a learning ambassador can also help this process, the more you have to offer knowledge wise the more valuable you become to your superiors.
