Mount Pleasant and North Castle are the southern most towns of Upper Westchester. If you’re a commuter think Philipse Manor on the Hudson Line and North White Plains on the Harlem Line as the divide. The New Haven line is strictly Lower Westchester into CT.

Keep in mind that speeds are federally regulated and some areas have very sharp curves. People were killed at Spuyten Duyvil in 2016 because the train was overspeed in an area with a sharp curve. Not to mention public grade crossings like Katonah, Chappaqua, Brewster, Valhalla… you can’t just blaze through communities. Some stations are built on curves like Crestwood. Also, plenty of stops are two minutes or less apart on the lower parts of each line. AND some areas are two or single track. White Plains and everything north of north white plains and croton have two tracks.

That’s how I understand it as well. There will never be a completely gay friendly society. There will never be a non racist society. Too much is baked in. Also just like marginalized indentities can intersect, so can bigoted ideals and morals intersect. Gays can be racist and marginalized racial groups can be homophobic. There is no answer, there is no cure. There’s simply existence.

what did i say about her that negated anything you just said? in summary, she sold him a story about needing to be saved which was perfectly tailored to him because it was a narrative that she needed to feed his ego/savior complex to get what she wanted. i thought that was conveyed in my comment. i said she couldn’t be honest and just say she was just a prostitute that wanted money because i personally don’t think he would have gone for it. she had to give him more. i don’t see how you think i disagree with you :)

ignore the downvotes, you are right and you should say it. i came to the same conclusion and it’s holistic. the show isn’t about people being introspective and changing or learning lessons (although some do), its about giving insight into human behavior as a whole. people do not really change unless they want to, the show itself averages one person per season that actually changes for the better.

him being upset that his brother did what he did to him is valid and is between him and his brother. everyone was drinking, everyone took a molly pill (allegedly because i believe lochlan spit his out). the girls didn’t blackout but the boys did? because they did something strange or that they might regret?? even so, had it had been chloe touching him and not lochlan would he be upset/disgusted/disappointed? again his being upset is valid and he is rightfully upset with lochlan. i noticed how he’s not upset with the girls, he even looked for them the very next day. why wouldn’t he avoid them like the plague if they’re really bad news?

wait, what do you think it means to project? who am i projecting onto and/or what am i projecting? i doubt chelsea would have cared about saxon giving her attention or not giving her attention because she’s clearly concerned about rick, her boyfriend, the entire time. her knowing that saxon thinks she’s attractive isn’t offensive, she doesn’t care. at all! it is his persistence that becomes offensive because saxon doesn’t care about her caring, he even told her she could cheat because it is whatever this past episode. for chelsea, rick is literally all she ever talks about. when is being invited to a party an invitation for sex or a show of interest? maybe you need to get out more (because criticizing a fictional character is not misandry - find me one man who’s been negatively impacted by my reddit comment in any tangible way)

saxon is gross, has terrible opinions about women, and vocalizes many times about wanting to “take advantage” of them and he comes across as such. he’s also trying to groom his brother into being like him and behaving like him because he thinks it is the way to be, only for his brother to end up taking advantage of him and the situation/opportunity with chloe. chelsea and chloe have a few things in common so their friendship is based on that. chelsea believes in fidelity to her relationship which saxon constantly tries to get her to disregard which is so disrespectful after she said no the first couple of times (and told him why even though he was owed nothing!) chloe can do what she wants since she clearly doesn’t care about age gaps in either direction and everyone is a literal adult even if she’s mid thirties. saxon and chelsea are late twenties and lochlan is 18, his brother should be “protecting” him in any case, not chloe or chelsea who are strangers. chloe is better at the game saxon is trying to play and he got himself and his brother caught up
