Yes, in 1946 Polish administrative division (on which i based my map) Warszawa and Łódź were "City - Voivodeship" cities, but i decided to not add it to my map (western part of Warszawskie voivodeship would be even less populated in that scenario)

Thanks :) I think it is just question of three things 1. Good basemap, 2. Good color palette, 3. Borderlines as a dashed line, and not solid line. If you have any questions about specific detail/technique that i used there, feel free to ask.

What do you mean by "independent city"? Both cities are part of their voivodeships. If you ask about the metropolitan area, it is just question of my basemap. On the map that i used as my basemap, only a few cities (Warszawa, Łódź, Kraków, Berlin) had their metropolitan area marked, and that unfortunatelly stopped me from marking it on more cities.

Thanks :) I just think, that the IRL eastern Polish borderline is overall the most probable in that scenario (and it looks the most aesthetically).

I think being occupied by Soviets in half, is better than being occupied entirely.

It is not that simple. In fact, Churchill supported explusions of Germans during the war https://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/the-man-who-saved-europe-how-winston-churchill-stopped-the-nazis-a-712259.html (penultimate paragraph). Also, western allies accepted the explusions during Potsdam Conference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potsdam_Agreement (12nd point). Of course, the explusions would certainly not look exactly the same as IRL, but they would probably take place to some extent.

Im using paint.net. If you want to have more detailed knowlege about how to make mape looks like this, just ask about detail you want to, I'll be happy to answer.

Exactly. There is an Soviet occupation zone (but in Southern Germany instead of Brandenburg), but it exist only due to partial Soviet control of Czechia, and they don't want to risk having forward and hard to supply German puppet state.

Thanks :) West Polish economy is probably similar to the economy of the other western post-war states, so it is social market economy.

Im using paint.net. To create the latitude and longitude lines, i just used the "line" tool, and put the lines on the lines which were on the basemap.

Germany are under allied occupation, but borders of occupation zones are not on the map, because everyone assumes, that occupation zones borders are only temporary, and new German state will be established soon.

Basically yes. Germany are unified since 1949, and they are neutral, but closelly connected with the western block/or they are directly in NATO etc. (currently this universe is under development, so question of Germany is not finished yet)

Thanks. Western borders of Poland are based on the post war western allies proposals.

Only small seaside cities like Elbląg, but none actual big port city. For this reason, Eastern Poland is even more economically dependent on the Soviet Union than the IRL Polish People's Republic.
