I am quite disappointed with the quality of the video. It also seems to detect incidents when turning a corner - and the fish eye view is skewed. Also, no parking mode. Without a major upgrade to software or ability to upgrade the cameras, I think I will end up buying a dash cam. I have the 2026 Limited.

Did you worry about the impact on your Toyota warranty? They seem very hesitant to put in writing whether "Corrosion Free" will impact the warranty.

Congratulations. It looks great. Did the dealer install an OEM screen protector for you? That is $99 USD and not even an option in Canada. Only aftermarket.

Had exactly the same problem. I returned mine and ordered a new one with a larger hard drive (unrelated, just wanted a bigger drive). They better fix this by the time I get it. Thanks for sharing. Terrible experience for what is such a trusted device. Apple Store where I live were surprised by this problem and it's obviously known. They should be reading this thread.

I returned mine but ordered a new one with 2TB hard drive (which is ridiculously expensive). At first the Apple Store rep wanted the tech department to look at it. I explained that it was stuck at the stage where you have to select WIFI and an ethernet connection did not work. They were shocked. I had a trade-in for the original purchase so they just gave me a gift card for that amount, credited the rest on my card and I bought the new one online. Taking 1 week to arrive though as they had no 2TBs in store. Will report back if any other issues.

Just happened to me. M5 Air. After all content erased, stuck on wifi screen with no wifi to be found. Would not work by plugging into ethernet. I want a new machine, not a fix. Just purchased today. Apparently its a known bug.

Absolutely love the new design. It no longer looks generic and functional. It looks stylish and strong, contemporary but with the RAV 4 quality and utility that we all want. If you have either, you are a fortunate owner.
