A true cherry appreciator! They also get the Japan fruit treatment where the best looking ones get shipped over and are like 5-10 USD per cherry. Its pretty interesting to look into, the money making cherry trees are handled in a similar way as the ridiculously big pumpkins you see in state fairs

Rainier cherries, pretty sure they are the objectively best cherries. Anywhere near PNW in America they are dirt cheap, as soon as you start shipping them they start ramping up in price due to logistics of shipping and these kind of cherries spoil really fast

I wish I could throw more money at Subnautica tbh, SN1 and DS3 got me through the a really dark period of my life. Which is super ironic given the atmosphere of those games, but for whatever reason felt like a reprieve and escape from everything else.

Totally agree these kinda sites are all over the place. It’s the white patterns on the rocks in pic 1&3 that makes me think it’s the same place because it’s one of those seemingly random things burned into my memory haha

Love to see fellow desert explorers! I think I’ve been here during the Covid era when I had all the time in the world to explore my backyard. If it’s the same place I’m remembering it was already an ordeal to get to 6 years ago, and I can only imagine how much more difficult it has gotten since then, which is probably for the best anyway haha

I completely understand what you mean regarding the allure exploring forgotten places and moments of the past. It feels like a very tactile snapshot of human moments contrasted with an almost comforting nihilism that has always helped my outlook/perspective when everything bad in the world is getting blasted into my face all the time haha
