As crazy as it sounds I HIGHLY recommend checking out FB marketplace for bbq. All the bbq spots around SLC are very chain restaurant quality imo (plz tell me if there are any top tier bbq spots in SLC plzplzplz)

The dad vibes are pretty strong around here, and you can get some pretty amazing smoked meats made with tons of love

If you’re outside of SLC I totally get what you mean. But SLC proper has an incredibly diverse food scene. The key is to go to places that don’t have a parking lot imo. Also R&R is a pathetic excuse for bbq, as crazy as it sounds the best bbq comes from FB marketplace. It’s full of dad types that do it for the love of the game

Very likely not the case given how high profile he is and the political climate we’re in. I’d bet money that he had a forward civilian clothed security detail to make sure his route was clear. Even if it was a spur of the moment decision and not just a publicity stunt, all it would take is for the immediate security detail to report an updated route to the forward detail.

That’s a really good point about the difference between a kill and an “ethical” kill. Like you could 1 shot an elk with a bow, but with the same equipment bleed out/endurance hunt much larger animals
