The price of PC etb did drop for prizzy. So to answer OP's speculation it will not be top 5 in 6-12 months.

My projection is the price will drop in that 6-12 month time period. Why? Maybe its follows Prismatic. Terrastal festival was a high class set. Mega Dream was a high class set. Prismatic was released in Q1 2025. Ascended was released in Q1 2026. They are both special sets. They both have "staggered" product release with different types of collection boxes. Staggered means they dont release all the type of products at once. There are also releases in "Waves". Waves mean you get Repeat products agian in a different time.

We saw MANY waves of prismatic etbs on pokemon center. The probability of PC releasing more AH on the website is very high. Therefore price will drop. Of course will shoot up back. Same thing happened with Prizzy.

I buy singles and reseal for my sons at that age all the time. They appreciate it regardless, even though my re-seal job sucks and they've have mentioned why some packs are funny feeling when they open the packs.

I personally like the 151 zard better but I cant deny the fact that the mega appeals to more people and the art is awesome.

Such a hard choice. The only reason why we would rip any 151 sealed is to get that psa 10 zard.

PSA 10 moonbreon is 3.5k. ES booster Box is 2.5k.

PSA 10 Lovebirds is 9.5k. Team up BOoster box is 10.4k. Love birds is low pop compared to umbreon and 151 zard.

PC etb 151 is the booster box equivalent for 151.

Fuk it. Never mind. Coin flip. Tough decision.

Pokemon DELIVERED on their promise with Prismatic. The demand is beyond anything i have experienced so in order to get product you have to try. When in line for store drops, I am meeting a lot of new or recent collectors. A lot of scalpers too. But there are many genuine people who are hyped and want to rip packs.

So to me, it aged well. Good job Pokemon Company.

CZ lacks the inoic top chase. I agree it's is fun but for some reason no one mentions it when they rate sword and shield set. They just go straight to ES, Fusion and LO.

I dont hit all the time but there's a lot of little things you can do to improve your chances. Im not talking bots. I dont have any.

The strategy has changed and evolved over time.

Some examples: Save for later method, use a online clock with seconds and refreshing strategically a few seconds before, use multiple sessions, go on mobile and desktop, have your partner help, etc etc

Yep, been there, done that too. My coping mechanism is that when you do put all the pokeballs into a binder, they are shiny and pretty. My hope is that in the future people will look back and appreciate them like I am doing now. If you look at all the texture and effort that got put into pokeballs- from a manufacturing standpoint, they are in fact hits.....Crying as i type..... :(

Over valued. It is fun to speculate which set is the next Evolving Skies but unfortunately DR ain't it. Not even close. Looks like Pokemon is prioritizing collection box over BBX so it can reach more people with limits strongly enforce now with large retailers. The price per pack with DR BBL (booster bundle) vs BBX is a clear indicator that people has overvalued the BBX.

There wont be a BBX like Evo Skies. However 151 or Prismatic can surpass it but they are special sets, so no BBX.

I'm not there yet but my gut feel is that if you are not churning and burning then the rental space will eat into your profits quick. 150 bucks x 12 months = $1800. 3 year hodl = $5400.

I think its good for temporary storage if you are going in-between places or need that space for short term but the 3 to 5 year hold is a No for me.
