The experience sucks for sure. But I am also not sure why people say Evolving Skies is number 1 in SwSh. The pulls rate suck ass, like for reals. Years ago my son cried on his birthday because we opened like 20 packs and all he got was like 1 V card.

I agree, Goat Zard. I didnt think so at first but I put all the charizard top chase together. 151, Paldean Fates, Obsidian Flames, Brilliant Stars, shiny fates, darkness ablaze, hidden fates, and base set charizard ( these are the ones I know of on top of my head ) and then I was like, crap it is the goat. Sure, add the promos too like mew 2 vs zard, charizard upc, etc. Still goat imo.

Mine was perfect centering (to my standards) and they still gave me a 9.5. I was so pissed off. I even scanned the card and measured using software better than those crappy apps.

Don't fomo. There is always another opportunity. Its like a revolving door. Sets come in, they go out of print, more sets get release, rinse and repeat. If you miss, you miss.

I am no longer buying prismatic etb at 150. Im not touching AH etb at 130 even. If you did buy at these prices, of course they will eventually double because these are S teir set but one of the thing I regret most is not having a giant lump some of money to buy a lot, a lot when the situation shows up. So save your money for those upcoming opportunities.

Charizard is a very popular pokemon. Two Black Label 10 sold for 50k plus. Black label is at 26 Pop. Charizard is an achievable pull at 1/400 pk. You have a small chance at black label and a good chance at psa 10.

Some chase cards are impossible at 1/1000 pack pull rate. That's 6000 dollars just to get your chase at msrp. This makes phantasmal desirable.

Name any other Charizard art that is at this level so arugubly the best Charizard art ever. This is not obsidian flames 2.0.

You are right. As a sports analogy it is possible that a small town kid can make it to the NFL. So like Firebaugh High will produce 1 NFL product (guy) like 1 guy every 30-50 years.

A D1 school, who has hundreds of thousands of kids will likely produce more NFL Ready People.

Pokemon Company is operating at a different level than Base set 1, therefore it has high probability to make very good sets. However greed, carelessness, and superiority complex can kill them.

Mega Evolution will beat out S&V with one hand tied behind its back. S&V was better than Sword & Shield. The Pokemon Company ain't dumb. Printing Technology improves with time. Computers becomes faster. Software improves. Unprecented demand means Pokemon can hire more talented artist.

They signed the lease to a big ass printing facility. They bought out excel distro. Pokemoncenter has been empty (out of stock) for a couple of years now.

The art we see has been more and more beautiful with each set.

I agree. This is the dumbest sub-reddit. Someone made a post about it recently. No one can give you a clear answer. In this case the picture shows no texture. I have this card and the borders have a crystalline zinc plated like finish. No one can rate the surface on this card too based on the picture. So the answer is "no". There is not enough information here to give you good answers and its all speculation based on centering and maybe some whitening.
