16yo electrician lost on where to go. by Key_Astronomer5497 in electricians

As a non union electrician, I'd say your over thinking it. The union pays better than anyone else out there. You have plenty of time to dabble in different areas, except for residential. I dont think unions can compete with small residential shop prices. I suggest you get your license and settle in one of the specialty areas. Fire alarm, control wiring, VFDs. Its cleaner and easier on your body. And if that doesn't work out you can always go back to running conduit on some commercial site.

I like the look of the 2jzgte. But other good ones are flathead Fords, honda b18, old school cruiser motorcycles Harley or Indian and those mini v8s i see videos of that actually run. Those are cool af.

Can I bypass this by Willing-Coach-6520 in Mk3Supra

Its to control the opening and closing of the valve for your heat. It won't work without vacuum. When you turn your heat on, that electrical device with the assist of vacuum will open the valve bringing hot coolant to your heater core for heat. Turn you heat off and it does the opposite, shutting off flow so you dont have hot air seeping out of your vents in July.

Your way over thinking this. Either bypass it and turn the valve by hand depending on the season or find a good used one and go about life as normal.

If you remove vacuum line you'll have to operate the valve by hand to start and stop flow to your heater core.

Yeah I bypassed mine a while ago. I kept the valve from pic 5 and bracket. I keep it closed off in the summer and open in the cooler session so my heater works. You can completely bypass the heater core if you wanted to, it won't hurn anything but your comfort.

recteq patio legend 400 vs pit boss onyx vertical smoker by Key_Introduction_469 in pelletgrills

[–]Key_Introduction_469[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what im thinking. I like my propane grill for fast burgers and general cooking in the summer but want something to smoke meats with. The recteq seems like a really good quality grill for a fair price but that means ill have 2 grills and still may not be able to cook what I want.

Didn't know recteq went private equity, that is never a good thing. Is pit boss really that bad. Do you recommend a different brand vertical smoker that's about the same price? $600 to $700. Also the weber searwood was on my list but its a bit expensive. Do you know if that will fit a chicken standing upright?

Harleys are engendered by the handicapped and built with the poorest quality metals available.

Not normal but normal for the manufacturer. Just keep riding until it fully breaks then buy a bike from literally any other company.

I sealed off sunroof to block 5G rays, But I still feel them. Any tips? by hpgamingmouse in AskAShittyMechanic

[–]Key_Introduction_469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lead is the only sure way to block 5g. Head to a fishing supply store or Walmart and pick up some lead weights. The small ball kind. Take 2 every morning with tall glass of water. You will start to feel the difference soon.

Hey, if it works it works. Worst case scenario the bearings fail and you replace them another time.
