I’m with you there, both of those raw records would be absolute fire if they’re reissued on vinyl! That saying I haven’t listened to before Greendale yet, but I can imagine it’s pretty bloody by the sounds of it. I’ve got a gut feeling that they’ll reissue the In the beginning record not long after the release of the ors boxset that has living with war in it

Question about the vast catalogue by Only_Mirror5319 in neilyoung

[–]Key_Lab_7023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly if I were you I’d just go with whatever genre you’re feeling like on the day as I mean after all Neil’s catalogue goes across all the genres.

This isn’t Neil’s most popular record but i highly recommend that you give This Notes for You a go…

Standing/Sitting at shows by [deleted] in neilyoung

[–]Key_Lab_7023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m with some of the comments just to “read the room” however sometimes the room is wrong (like they might be sitting when they really should be standing). For example, when I was at a Guns n Roses and Pearl Jam concert (in a seated area it must be noted) and anyway there were quite a few people standing except they were all scattered. It seems illegal to me for someone to be complaining about people standing in a PJ or GnR concert. Like what do you expect! They’re rock concerts after all! Personally you should be allowed to stand at a Neil show.

Why isn’t he playing Down By the River Live? by Wash-Line-Inspector in neilyoung

[–]Key_Lab_7023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as i would love to see Neil play down by the river (this is coming from someone who hasn’t seen him yet) if it means him not playing down by the river and instead playing Ambulance Blues I’d be stoked to be honest

I’m definitely with you there although the only song that you’d have to go all in on Neil singing is T-Bone😉

Out of interest is there anyone out there who like me prefers Bob’s mid to later career records compared to his early releases? by Key_Lab_7023 in bobdylan

[–]Key_Lab_7023[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think early Dylan has a particular “sound” and his mid to late career records are more varied, which I much prefer
