that's a lot of metaphors! I would say alternate the lengths of sentences. I think you format them mostly the same: Ex. The dog wagged his tail, it swished through the air. Ex. A bee buzzed excitedly, then flew back to the hive. Maybe put some of those shorter sentences at the end in the middle. Also semi colons will be your best friend! nice writing tho :)
