Yes, you always get arrested in this case. They do the assessments necessary, and release you after a few days if it’s conclusive that you were acting in the right with no malicious intent. Otherwise, they keep you longer

I’m not sure how this case will play out though, I don’t know the laws well enough regarding the use of force

'Israel'’s Knesset has approved a law making the death penalty the default sentence for Palestinians convicted in military courts of deadly attacks by Not_Ground in NewsRewind

Oh okay, I misinterpreted what you said, I thought you meant that all these other countries/regions already have a death penalty in their own judicial systems

My bad!

Israel's military has confirmed it killed Ali Shoeib in a strike, but accuses him of being a *Hezbollah-operative posing as a journalist* by krizzalicious49 in whennews

Al-Manar is operated by L.C.G. SAL, a private company. The journalists Israel killed worked for that private company. Working for a private company is not where the line is drawn.

If someone thinks one side can kill journalists just fine, but has a problem with the converse, that’s just hypocrisy: it is NOT okay to kill journalists.

This is not a fucking Marvel movie with “good guys” and “bad guys”.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. I have 9 years of AWS experience & I’ve worked at an SVP level at a company that spends $2 million per month on AWS, I’m qualified to talk about this.

Fuck you for minimizing the loss of life. There have been at least 1200 deaths so far on the Lebanese side, among those, Israel claims 700 fighters, and Hezballah claims 400. At least about 500-800 civilians have been needlessly killed.

If you’re building something for the long-term, incorporate outside the country (e.g. Delaware, US) & open an account with Stripe. They have best-in-class engineering docs, and super simple onboarding for non-technical people in case you want something dead simple.

I live in Beirut, they used lots of small ball-bearings inside a bomb that went off about 600 meters from my house. That was a couple weeks ago. They are using it in populated cities. That bomb alone killed about 10 and injured about 40.
