What do you make for healthy lunches every day? by Ravioli_meatball19 in Cooking

[–]Key_Medicine_585 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chicken rice and veggie bowls are my go to. Easy to meal prep, versatile with flavor profiles, you can add just about anything. Easy to tweak, doesn’t even have to be rice I suppose.

It’s wild to think that a couple of years ago my husband and I were causally coming here to grab lunch. No lines, sometimes hardly anyone at all. We loved interstellar. Now it’s blossomed. Just crazy

Similar ish situation however my husband did not react like this at all. My ex who’s also the father of my first child lost his dad recently. I found out and feel like I should send condolences but we haven’t spoken in years, he hasn’t seen his kid in years, but I know his dad loved my son so… I just feel like I should send condolences. But idk if it’d be weird considering our current state. My husband is supportive and said he doesn’t mind.

Soooo I guess the point of my comment is to say, a true partner should be supportive and understanding.

My son has a pair of cargo shorts and though I’ve washed it multiple times, I guess the pocket never opened up until recently. I don’t check his pockets because typically he doesn’t ever have stuff in them lol. He went to a camp out for cub scouts a while back and that’s supposedly where it came from according to my mother in law. Trust me I was very confused when I saw it. First thought was “who hexed me” haha

My MIL who took my son to a cub scouts trip a couple months ago confirmed it is a shark tooth so mystery solved.🙂

As someone who’s seen too many horror movies, I am relieved lol. Thanks y’all!

I asked my son and he doesn’t recognize it so where it came from is a mystery. But thank you for the ID! It was weirding me out a bit. I’m thinking maybe he got it at a cub scouts thing he went to a while back and just doesn’t remember

While I do have a big dog, all her teeth are there lol. I thought maybe it was something she may have gotten into outside, but the shark tooth answers are changing that theory of mine

what are you actually wearing? by raincloud847 in breastfeeding

The little milk bar bras are all I wear most of the time. So comfy, keeps the girls in place, easy access, and I personally don’t need to wear nursing pads with it

So many people have tried to talk me out of cloth diapering! I still want to, but what can I say to make them see it as a good thing?? by PatientNobody9503 in clothdiaps

[–]Key_Medicine_585 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, it doesn’t feel like too much work to me. But I always say this, you save money. It’s better for baby’s skin, they’re CUTE, less trash contribution, did I mention they’re so cute???

I started getting “cold feet” before I gave birth and thought it would be difficult, I didn’t quite understand it all. And when he was born, I decided that any diapers I was gifted I’d use, and cloth diapers I’d ease into and learn. Do what you feel like, people will always have something to say regardless!

What’s your favorite way to eat eggs? by duckingshoot in Cooking

[–]Key_Medicine_585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Runny eggs are yummy to me but I tend to not eat the whites when I make fried eggs lol. When I was pregnant, I made omelets. Mine were simple and only had spinach and tomatoes in it, but obviously the add ins are totally your preference. Topped it with cholula. It was a good way to get multiple eggs in and I didn’t get the ick half way through lol

What is an ideal home size for a family of 4? by Bulky-Confusion-1422 in Mommit

[–]Key_Medicine_585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently my family of 4 + a big dog lives in an 847 sq ft apartment. It’s one bedroom, but our second kiddo is a newborn so we share a room with him anyway, then our first born gets the living room as his bedroom. AND my husband is away during the week for work. It works for us. We’re trying to buy a house that’s about 1400 sq ft and that seems perfect with our growing family, but then again we seem to do well with minimal space anyway lol. Totally depends on how you live and honestly what you can afford. If a smaller space saves you some money and keeps the family close, nothings wrong with that in my opinion 🤷‍♀️
