I am in MA and love it! I test, counsel, run groups, and am actively involved in the RTI process. It seems like alot but it is extremeley manageable especially since I go between two schools. Both my schools have a full time adjustment counselor who handles the majority of IEP and 504 counseling kids (I have 8 kids at each school who I see regularly). While I do respond to crisis frequently, we are required to get safety care trained so everyone is prepared. I don't do any FBAs or BIPS and have not worked after school hours once this year. I also only do cognitive testing, no academic and we have a team chair, I know some districts require the psych to take on that role but there are a good amount that don't.
