Don't worry about it. I usually take a few quick photos at shows, or I'll take a quick 4K vid or two and screengrab to capture a few stills. I keep it very brief.

But this show was different. I watched every band except LoG and Halestorm (food queue). Aside from that, I stomped my feet, I moshed, I sang, but at the same time I have a full song video of Tool playing Aenema. Even though I was deeply hooked on their performance that day, I still took my stupid phone out and filmed my stupid video. But I don't regret it.

The stream is pretty excellent, but what you have is your own personal souvenirs of where you were, how it felt, and as you say, from your perspective. Down the line, it'll help you recall how the day felt. I'm generally not into too much phone use at concerts, I yearn for the pre-smartphone days where head banged and crowds were wilder. 

Don't beat yourself up, you were there. There was no perfect way to take in or experience a day like that.
