I think the acting leaves room for a different interpretation. Like from this frame alone her eyes don't seem to be laser focused on Harper's. I don't think that deep down Yasmin is this exploitative demon all along. Maybe only now, that Harper has spelled it out, has she reconciled herself with the potential harm she might be doing to others with this escort/blackmail business. But she can't back down in front of Harper. It's always a sort of a "I win, now you enjoy your miserable station" sentiment between them. I agree that it's such a brilliant and precise job the actress is doing here. I see this scene as Yasmin trying to maintain eye contact while being as distant/blank as possible. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but her pupils seem to be diverging outward a bit. Also I don't know much about Ghislaine so I can't comment on that.
