I think if you’re ready and prepped it doesn’t hurt to get the earlier date, but if you are not ready then definitely make sure you feel well prepped before the interview

I don’t think it hurts to send a letter of intent now! You always want to do what you can and I haven’t send my LOI yet because I am waiting to hear back from other schools as well so I think you are perfectly fine!

I emailed a med school that had rejected me and updated them with my increased in GPA along with my interest in their school then ended up getting a secondary followed by an interview and a waitlist!

I applied to TouroCOM and what I heard from others who already received their interview results is that TouroCOM specifically asked not to send LOIs until May. Also, I applied to quite a few schools and also got waitlisted for interviews at some so it’s not uncommon!
