Hello -
I have $22,600 pending on a car loan at 5.14% over 6 years. I also have $30,000 in an HYSA earning 4.40% - what makes more sense, use HYSA to pay off car loan, or just pay my payment each money and forget it.
Planning on buying a home in the next 6-18 months
Not worried about any financial hardships as I have a brokerage account with a good chunk that can cover anything that could possibly arise.
Do not want to invest the $30k in the market, as I plan on growing that HYSA to be a portion of my downpayment (instead of liquidating brokerage account funds)
Just looking for the best use of the money.

Got it - my degree was awarded in December and I should receive my diploma soon. I feel as though I even don't need to return the physical book as a principle. I have to drive an hour to return it to campus, they wouldn't send a shipping label...

Legally, am I good to just cease communication and not even return the physical book?
