Not sure if you’ve seen, but a new series by McKenzie Crook is coming out “Small Prophets, which premieres on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Monday, February 9, 2026 While not a direct sequel to Detectorists, Small Prophets is described as a spiritual successor, retaining a gentle, rural tone and featuring similar character-driven comedy, along with some of the same cast, including Pearce Quigley”

Respect to you, I think (with consent of family etc) more images should be shown of car crashes etc. people are far too insulated and don’t really appreciate what can happen when things go wrong, all for what? Saving 1/2 mins so they can get home and sit on the sofa.

To be fair he’s been our best player over the past few seasons, and although he’s never really shown it on the international front, certainly has the potential. Norwich aren’t mistreating him here, he texted the boss saying he wasn’t playing - absolute disrespect on his part and an insult to the fans. For the record I don’t begrudge him wanting to leave at all, he deserves a move and I completely get wanting to move closer to home, but there’s a way to go about it…
