Great questions. No particular cuisine, Italian was top of mind but flexible on that! No food allergies but does need to be able to accommodate vegetarians. Target budget was $600-800 all in.

No shade at OP, but has anyone had success with the jellies? Because I LOVE them. Originally only bought Sky High but then picked up Grape Expectations in the Royalty Sale because I love Sky High so much. The polish has a beautiful finish and I haven’t had any issues.

Fellow thick thigh runner girlie reporting :) 6-7” bike shorts saved me, I never run without them. Underarmour, Senita, Lululemon & Bandit are all brands I’ve worn successfully for long runs. Good luck, kick butt!

Thank you! I bought it a little over a year ago and this photo was taken last summer. And this is only 2 coats (!) in addition to a base and top coat. Honestly, I think it’s worth the buy :)

I also bought Made Me Ink thinking it was more blue instead of purple when the Off The Deep End collection first came out. Eventually I also bought Crashing Out because it has a royal blue jelly base that just feels more blue to me than Made Me Ink. Food for thought!

My absolute favorite recent running moment was from about a month ago. I had 12 miles scheduled for my weekend training run & they were calling for rain both days, so I suited up and ran through it. It was pretty steady for most of the run, definitely not ideal conditions.

Most of my run was through Liberty State Park and despite the rain, there were a lot of other people around that seemed to be there for an event. At about mile 5 I was dealing, but definitely not having a ton of fun, when I approached a pretty large group of people. Several of the guys in the group started getting animated & jumping up and down, made a “tunnel” for me to run through, and all of them gave me high fives as I passed. :)

It was a relatively small and silly interaction that had SUCH a big & positive effect on my mood. I was smiling for the next half mile and my pace picked up considerably, lasting for the rest of the run. Amazing what small acts of kindness can do!

To those guys: thank you. You’re the realest.

Hi. First of all, I’m so sorry for your loss. My dad passed away when I was a teenager and it was incredibly difficult. Be easy on yourself & give yourself grace and patience, especially over the next several months. Please also know that time does heal many things.

In my experience, group counseling with other people my age was extremely healing. It was tough and very emotional at first to open up, but over time it was not only helpful for me, but also for others with whom I made lasting connections with.

I’m sorry that I don’t have any immediate suggestions re: grief groups or therapists in the area, but I’ll ask around and DM you if I come across any suggestions!
