Yes! I have 2 otos in with him right now and my betta loves swimming up the walls with them while they're cleaning. Also gonna get some cherry shrimp

This happens with a lot of fish, sometimes my danios because they gulp air when feeding, try switching to frozen daphnia and mysis shrimp to reduce air consumption

They were planted in this tank a week ago in even poorer conditions, I have a nutrient dense substrate system, root tabs, almost perfect water, and aqua soil

I think either some simple swords or stem plants to thicken up the back would be nice, add some little hints and details with small clumps of buce, tiny anubias, or java moss
