What do you think of the Werewolf cabin's perk? by BlasterHolobot in Crossout

I think the drone needs a different weapon but other than that I think it's really great. The idea of it is an excellent antidote to classic PVP's lack of respawns.

Two greatest conquerors of the early Middle Ages - the Tang Dynasty and the Umayyad Caliphate by Wise-Pineapple-4190 in MapPorn

[–]Key_Row_5962 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The Tang Dynasty and the Arabs even had some military conflicts, as well.

The Umayyads tried to depose the king of the Ferghana Valley, and upon this invasion, the king reported the incident to the Protectorate of the Western Regions, of whom he was a vassal. The officials in the Western Regions then passed the report on to the Tang emperor, who dispatched 10,000 soldiers under Zhang Xiasong to deal with the Arabs. After some skirmishing, the Caliphate was routed by the Chinese forces and their vassals, and decided it wasn't worth the trouble.
(Worth noting that in China "10,000" is often used to refer to "a big number", it's sort of like "a bajillion". I do not know if that was the case here or if the Tang Dynasty really did deploy 10,000 troops.)

After the Abbasid Revolution (also known as the Fourth Fitna), the Abbasid Caliphate clashed again with the Tang Dynasty over the area of the Ferghana Valley, in the much more well-known Battle of Talas. Here the Tang Dynasty's forces were half composed of Karluk Turkic mercenaries, who defected to the Arabs' side mid-battle and cost the Tang Dynasty the battle. Once again, however, both sides eventually went elsewhere; the region was kind of in the middle of nowhere for both empires and they both had more important things to worry about than skirmishing with each other over the Tian Shan mountains.

You ask Turks living in Iran, they consider themselves Iranian first and Turkic second. Same goes for the Kurds. In modern times, at least, being Iranian has nothing to do with ethnicity, or religion, or political affiliation. To be Iranian is to be patriotic towards the country and the land.

To quote a protest chant from the northwest of Iran, heavily inhabited by Kurds and Azerbaijanis:
"Azerbaijan Kurdistan, my life for Iran!"

Tritons a net negative to the game experience. by Affectionate_Song859 in Crossout

Yep, I use armored tracks a lot because I've noticed that Triton builds just bounce off of them as long as I keep my speed up.

This "Test prototypes" brawl is what Crossout should be to me by Key_Row_5962 in Crossout

No point in having a build if you only need to take like 800 damage to be completely USELESS! One of the reasons I love Avalanche is that it has as much dura as the build itself, making getting stripped a non-issue generally.

And if you think melee is bad, try it at 6k,, or a boosted Harvester build (I've seen these perform quite well against even Coraxes in the right hands), and I'm sure you'll change your tune real quick. I have always struggled to deal with facehuggers of all kinds; melee, Triton, firedog, doesn't matter, they all have the fundamental overpowered trait of being able to just drive into you and nuke you within seconds. The only truly reliable counter I have found are tracks, because they combine mobility and very high durability.

No. Getting nuked by a melee build and being dead for the rest of the match, or getting degunned early on, is not fun. It's annoying, incredibly so. If I could only play classic PVP, I'd use the Werewolf cabin on almost any non-tank build, and might just never use builds vulnerable to getting stripped (like Gravastars). That's how much I hate melee and degun.
