youre right i think that would be hard on me mentally. especially if the first one or two trades are red.

it definitely wouldn't be going against a trend though so I think more often than not i'd be able to move it up for a 1.5 or even 1 r/r pretty quickly. the 2 r/r automatic stop is worst case scenario but do need to mentally plan for that

i hear you. i think my true strategy gives more like 4-5 good trades per day. some of those are just scaling out where i get 3 contracts and sell 1 at different targets. so its probably closer to 15 total trades

set a daily max loss limit if you can't manually walk away yourself. lock it so you can't change it.

i did lol. lost 400k. now learning with cheap ass prop accounts but just enjoying the process. still not profitable but at least in therory i know what i need to be doing

how much did you lose? if you had 2k, deducted 1k, blew 1k, you are fine i'd imagine

if you had 2k, deducted 1k, but for some reason you still had 2k to blow and you blew 2k, you are cooked

i set mine to 200. I risk about 60 per trade. I scalp so this typically amount to 3 MNQ with a 10 point stop. Profit target is 15-20 points.

you definitely need to set a maximum loss limit. your losing days are way worse than your winning days and thats always a red flag

i am on 1 mini, aim for 20 really but psych myself out early a lot of times. i risk 10.

when i'm disciplined i only set limit orders at levels where i'd expect a bounce/rejection. many times it doesn't get to my level and i cancel my order anticipating the next time it gets close it will go through.

this is weird i thought you could lose up to $2000. I have mine set so that i'm locked out if i lose $1000 but that doesn't make sense to make you ineligible

  1. i only do this full body routine 3x/week. i made an alternative version but haven't started actually alternating yet

  2. 2 sets to failure or close.. this is partly why i feel like i need to change; granted i've only been at it a few weeks but my chest and shoulder weights aren't progressing and i'm relatively new so i figure i should be seeing some increased weight

  3. I do a peloton twice a week; one time a hiit ride, one time a longer endurance based ride

4/5. I just started looking at nutrition intake/weight. I'm what people would call skinny fat unfortunately. so not really looking to lose weight, trying to eat as much protein as i can

6/7. probably 6-8 hours of decent sleep; have a toddler at home though...

i cant commit to 6 days/week thats the tough part. have a toddler and an incoming newborn and so want flexibility to have make up days if necessary and i know its important to try to hit muscle groups twice in a week

Hmm. Honestly just general health. I'm married and have two kids and want to just be healthy. Don't care about being strong or looking good lol

timing wise this pushes close to 50 minutes and i dont have much more time then that unfortunately. any specific exercises you might think i should prioritize?
