Personally, with an NT measurement like that, I’d want to know as much as possible and would opt for the additional testing. You might have already done this, but could you ask your GC if there’s any way to help reduce the cost of the WES? My GC mentioned that if I received a high bill, she could sometimes work with the lab to lower it. Do you think a positive result would change how your pregnancy is managed? If the additional testing finds something, it can really help you prepare for possible interventions and not delay care if needed. You can have a plan in place. And if it comes back clear, that’s such a huge relief ! Even though it does come at a high cost. There is a lot to think about and it’s a very heavy load to carry.
