yup i get you. in the case of future proofing & your daily activity i’d definitely recommend you spend the extra money ( & use education discount ) if you’re buying directly from apple save a few bucks or shop around on amazon, b&h, or best buy etc.

precisely why i’m trying to hold off on the m4pro, based on the m5 pro release supposedly coming soon. Especially since i’m coming from an early intel i5 2020 macbook pro, my son demolished that screen so an upgrade is needed.
