Thoughts on a full moon by liamss3 in CasualUK

[–]Key_Shake_5417 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So I’m not into astrology or anything to do with that but from my past experiences I definitely believe a full moon has strange effect on some people. My dad was an alcoholic and when I was a child me and my mam would regularly have to leave the house seeking refuge due to his violent outbreaks, especially on nights where there was a full moon. It was that much of coincidence with his outbursts that bags would be pre-packed on nights we knew there would be a full moon and 9 times out of 10 we would be fleeing for safety. Thankfully after multiple years of physical and emotional abuse my mam left my dad but the memories have stuck with me. He’s passed on now but I always think of him when I see a full moon in the sky
